COFFEE TABLE STYLING.

Trays- These help group items together and break up an expanse of space. They are also really practical and enable you to move groups of items quickly when you require more room.

Candles- Not only do they look great they smell delicious and create a cosy, moody atmosphere. As an alternative to votive candles use groups of dinner candles styled in a glass jar. Candle accessories such as wick trimmer, snuffers or monochrome matches are a great styling accessory if you fancy something extra. Think brass or matte black.

Books- Large coffee table books are always my staple when styling up a coffee table. I normally use them in a stack of two layered with a pair of candles or a single three wick. Personally I prefer interior design guides but if you fancy something more personal there’s a fab company called ‘Printworks’ that produce photo albums that look like stylish coffee table books. Find them here….

Low vase- Because there’s nothing worse than blocking your view of Netlix right? Style it up with dried or foraged foliage, who has the cash to replace these weekly?

Coasters-Practical and pretty I often use coasters stacked or spread as a styling accessory. Think marble, rattan, slate, terrazzo or agate.

Guests- Want to get extra fancy? Think about what you’ll serve on your coffee table and how this coordinates with the space. I’m that saddo that has a coordinating caffetier, mugs & sugar bowl. WILD.
